All of our Lead teaching staff have a USA Gymnastics Instructor Membership, First Aid/CPR certification, and all of our staff have passed a Michigan State Background Check. We want to assure the best quality instruction for your children. Sarah Gross - Owner/Lead Teacher Sarah started teaching gymnastics in 1999. Since then she has coached a variety of different ages and levels ranging from 18 months to adult, preschool and recreational children, as well as competitive gymnastics. Sarah is a USA Gymnastics professional member,USA Gymnastics Safety Certified, and CPR/First Aid Certified. She graduated from Aquinas College in 2006 with a BA in General Education. "My goal is to provide the BEST for the kids that we teach through planning, training and enthusiastic teaching! I believe Rising Starz Fitness sets the bar high in West Michigan for teaching movement education, nutrition and gymnastics to it's youth!" Mo Kragt - Lead Teacher Mo has been with Rising Starz since day one! Rising Starz Fitness is very blessed to have Mo's great teaching ability, patience and love for kids! "I started teaching gymnastics in 2009. I feel very blessed to have been with Rising Starz from the beginning. I have been married to my husband, Dan since 1996 and we have two wonderful children Maddie and TJ. Before starting at Rising Starz Fitness, I taught dance for 18 years and was a daycare provider for 10 years. I am excited to have the opportunity to work with so many children and to teach them gymnastics and nutrition!" Kristy Crysler - Lead Teacher We are very excited to have Kristy as a Lead Teacher at Rising Starz Fitness. She is truely gifted as a teacher and has a huge passion for kids and gymnastics. Krsity has been with Rising Starz since January 2011. "I am the mom of 4 active kids and they keep me on the move!" My daughter is a competitive gymnast and because of this I have developed a love for the sport. I enjoy working with young children and have found the perfect job that combines the two!" Kim Olenzuk - Assistant Teacher We are very excited to have Kim teaching with Rising Starz!! Kim has many years of experience with children and gymnastics. Kim has been with Rising Starz since September 2011. Kelly Schmuker - Lead Teacher Kelly is such a great addition to the Rising Starz Staff! She spent much of her childhood and high school years as a gymnast and much of her college years as a coach. She has experience with preschool, beginner, and advanced recreational classes as well as USAG woman's competitive team programs. You will see Kelly at our Rockford program on Monday nights!! Kelly has been with Rising Starz since September 2011. "I have coached gymnastics for over 6 years and I participated in gymnastics myself for many years before that. i take pride in helping kids make goals and achieve them while doing something physically active! I am married and have a 16 month old boy at home and I can't wait to et hime involved int the sport!" Chelsea Pipkins - Assistant Teacher We are very excited to have Chelsea with Rising Starz Fitness!! She joined us in January 2012 and will be working with our preschool and daycare facilities. "I am an energetic fun loving person. I did gymnastics for 9 years and have had several years of experience with children. At this time I am attending Sanford Brown for Medical Billing and Coding.
